Semi - Custom Collection Guide
It is recommended to book services at least 6 months in advance.
Wedding invitations should go out 6-8 weeks before your wedding, Save The Dates can go out 6-12 months before. Design and production of your suite will usually take 2-3 months.
Our Semi-Custom clients typically spend between $3,000 to $8,000 on all stationery from Save the Dates, Invitations and "Day Of" Stationery. The average total investment is $5,000.
Our Semi-Custom Process eliminates overwhelm and uncertainty by providing you with a stationery expert to walk you through all your stationery details from start to finish.
We are a small studio and only take on a limited number of clients at a time.
It is best to inquire early to be sure we can accommodate your ideal mailing date for your wedding.
01. REQUEST A QUOTE
Browse our available designs and select a collection design that fits your wedding aesthetic. Our designs can be customized with paper choices, ink colors, envelope options, and even custom artwork, depending on the suite.
Request a quote by completing our Inquiry Form. We will gather some of the big details such as your wedding date, estimated guest count, and estimated budget for invitations. After we receive your questionnaire, we will reach out to set a time for your free consultation.
02. GET A PROPOSAL
We'll schedule a free consultation either in person or on the phone to get an idea of your overall vision and aesthetic. I will answer any questions and explain your options for printing methods, paper choices, etc.
After our consultation, we will send custom proposals and contracts for you to sign. We can also include additional stationery such as Save the Dates, Menus, Place Cards, Table Numbers, etc. Then we will add your project to our production calendar.
We break your quote into 2-3 payments based on items. A deposit will be required to book our services.
Once your order has been placed and your information collected, the design process begins right away. When choosing your suite we encourage you to consider your selections carefully before placing your order. We will follow up within 5 to 10 business days with a digital proof featuring your unique selections.
Once you have reviewed your digital proof, you can either approve for printing or request changes. One round of revisions is included with your order, any adjustments after this round can be made for a fee.
04. PROOFING & APPROVAL
Once your proof has been approved, production begins. We will follow up when production is completed and your goods are ready to ship. If you ordered calligraphy or printed addressing, I will send you a template to collect your guest list.
I will either ship the items to you to assemble, or I can address, assemble, stamp and stuff for you. Final payment will be due before your pieces are shipped to you.
Flat - or digital - printing is amazing for recreating the intricacies of color. This is the best option for watercolor artwork, florals or any design with a lot of color. For any designs that use a photograph, giclee printing is also available
Because it does not require the creation of a special plate, flat printing has the fastest turnaround time and also the lowest price point.
Digitally printed stationery takes approximately 4-5 weeks upon approval, plus shipping.
Letterpress is a gorgeous and very old method of printing. A plate will be made to make a deep impression into a thick cotton paper for a luxurious textured feel.
For a clean look focused on calligraphy or typography, you can choose an entirely pressed suite. We match pantone colors or you can choose a blind emboss (with no ink). Letterpress may also be combined with flat or foil printing.
Letterpress printed stationery takes approximately 5-6 weeks upon approval, plus shipping.
If you love the look of a metallic finish for your design, foil printing is the way to go. Similar to letterpress, a metal plate is created of your design and then pressed down to print the metallic foil.
You can choose foil for a large portion of your design, or as an accent. Foil comes in a variety of colors and shades, and can be combined with flat printed artwork. or letterpress.

110 lb. PAPER
Our 110 lb. paper comes in either Cotton or Eggshell finish.
Eggshell is perfect for digital printing and features clean, smooth edges with a softly textured finish.
Cotton paper offers a little more texture and softness. Perfect for letterpress printing.
Available in bright white, natural white, ecru, or custom color.
220 lb. PAPER
Our 220 lb. paper comes in either Cotton or Eggshell finish.
This 'double thick' paper offers more weight for those pieces that you want to stand out from the rest. Great for main invitations and Save the Dates.
Pairs well with letterpress and edge painting (see finishes below).
Available in bright white, natural white, ecru, or can be backed with a solid color.
Handmade paper features a softly textured surface and natural deckled edges to provide an organic and romantic feel.
Handmade paper is well suited for a delicate letterpress impression and foil.
Available in white, natural white, and several colors. Please inquire for options.
Choose from a selection of carefully curated soft cotton envelopes with a deep pointed euro flap and coordinating response envelopes.
For the ultimate luxury, select handmade envelopes featuring soft, naturally deckled edges. Handmade envelopes are made to order
and can add approximately 1-2 weeks to the timeline.

Printing methods available for handmade paper envelopes are Letterpress and Foil Printing. Guest mailing addresses must be handwritten in calligraphy for handmade paper envelopes.

Choose from a variety of wax colors to compliment your suite.
We offer a variety of colors of hand-dyed silk ribbon and twine and will work with you to select the perfect color to compliment your suite.
Our silk ribbon and twine is hand dyed in small batches which may result in slight tonal shifts. The silk has been left unpressed, leaving a natural texture for a beautifully organic feel.
All silk ribbons are made of a light silk habotai and then hand torn, frayed and spooled for an organic, soft feel. Available in the following widths: .5", 1", 1.75" and 2.5".
All silk twine is hand torn, ranging from 1/8" to 1/4" in width, and may have some delicate threads that have not been removed.
